Website and portal terms

These terms cover use of the College Crusader website and client portal. A written agreement with your college takes precedence if it specifically addresses the same issue. These terms do not change an existing agreement's prices, purchased services, renewal, cancellation or refund provisions.

Use an individual account and the email address authorized for your college. Complete the required identity verification and keep your credentials private. Access depends on an active college membership and the products and releases available to that college. Access to one college does not authorize access to another college's private material.

Contact [email protected] if your access is incorrect, your college changes or you suspect unauthorized use. Google and Microsoft sign-in are optional alternatives to email and password where available. These identity services have their own terms and controls. Connecting another provider requires an explicit action from your account.

Unless a specific resource or your college's written agreement states otherwise, College Crusader grants your college a nonexclusive, ongoing license to use resources it lawfully obtains while authorized. You may copy, edit, adapt and publish the resulting content for your college's marketing, communications, training and institutional activities, including on its website, social channels and advertising.

Your college's employees, departments, agencies and contractors may use the material on its behalf. Share working files with those people as needed, while keeping account credentials individual and protecting private library access. College Crusader attribution is not required unless a particular resource or third-party license requires it.

Your college may keep using and adapting resources lawfully obtained before its subscription ends. Ending access does not create a right to obtain later releases or restore access to the portal. College Crusader retains ownership of its original resources; your college retains its own original contributions. These permissions do not authorize selling the original resource library as a standalone product, providing another college with your private library access or redistributing the unmodified collection for unrelated organizations without written permission.

Third-party images, music, trademarks and other material remain subject to their respective rights and licenses. These terms grant only rights College Crusader is entitled to grant.

Review and adapt resources for accuracy, accessibility, institutional requirements and your intended audience before publishing. Your college is responsible for its final communications, necessary approvals and rights to the material it adds. Resources provide general marketing support and do not guarantee enrollment, campaign or other outcomes.

Do not bypass access controls, use another person's credentials, interfere with the service, introduce malicious content or submit student records or sensitive personal information through the inquiry form. Reasonable internal use and sharing with people working for your college are permitted within the resource license above.

We may update resources and service features, perform maintenance or restrict access to protect security, respond to misuse or reflect changes to a college's authorized services. Where practical, we will communicate a material access problem to the college's contact and work toward a resolution. Contact [email protected] for access assistance, service cancellation questions or requests concerning your information. Any applicable written customer agreement continues to govern.

External websites and identity providers operate under their own terms. Additional tools or purchased services may have separate terms or permissions clearly presented when they become available. A preview or demonstration does not itself connect an advertising account, enroll you in a paid service or authorize a financial transaction. Use of this website does not create an automatic billing or renewal commitment.

Our privacy policy at /privacy-policy explains how we handle information. We may update these terms and identify the current version by its effective date. Changes do not override a written agreement or remove permissions already granted for lawfully obtained resources unless that agreement provides otherwise. Rights required by applicable law remain available.
