College Crusader

Data-deletion instructions

What to include

Include your name, the email address registered with College Crusader, your college or organization name, and the Facebook Page or Instagram account affected. If available, include its public profile URL. Tell us whether you want to disconnect a social account, delete particular drafts, images or publishing records, or close your College Crusader account.

Do not send passwords, authorization tokens, student records or sensitive identity documents in the initial email. We may contact you through your registered address to verify your identity and your authority for the college. A request cannot authorize removal of another college's information.

How we handle a request

Our staff identify the requested records and explain the action taken or any information needed to complete it. Depending on the approved scope, we stop unsent work, retire stored connection credentials, remove private images and public publishing copies, and delete related drafts or saved publishing records. If a delivery is in progress or its result is uncertain, we resolve its status before confirming removal. Removal from our active systems is handled separately from backup retirement.

You may also revoke College Crusader's authorization in Meta's account or business integration settings. Revocation stops future access through that authorization; it does not itself delete all data already stored by College Crusader.

Published posts and retained information

Removing a connection or deleting College Crusader data does not delete posts already published on Facebook or Instagram. Manage those posts through the destination account. If you want our assistance, identify each post separately; removal requires separate authorization and account access.

Some information may be retained for necessary security, recordkeeping, legal obligations or to resolve a delivery. Encrypted backups can retain information until the affected copies are retired. Social publishing backups normally retain 30 days and at least two verified recovery copies, so protected copies can remain longer when fresh recovery copies are unavailable. We explain applicable limitations and reapply recorded restrictions and approved deletions before a recovered service resumes processing.
